Born and raised in the far western suburbs of Chicago, I’m a proud father to two wonderful young women, and a son and brother in a close-knit family. Over the years, I’ve lived in six different states, though I’ve never served in the military.

I started this blog as a way to share my thoughts, reflections, and experiences with others. Life has been full of lessons, and I hope my words offer something valuable to those who read them.
